Gate valve can only be fully open/close, and can not be used as adjusting valve.
In a wedge gate, the seats are not parallel, but taper inward from top to bottom. The discs are also tapered.The trim of wedge gate valve is wedge, which is vertical to medium flow direction. When the discs are forced into the seats, the wedging action provides the sealing force. That is effective for sealing, but one of the drawbacks of a wedge gate is the discs can get ‘stuck’ in the seat, especially if there is a great change in system temperature from when the valve is closed.
Wedge gate valve can be a unique type called inflexible disc; and can also be a flexible wedge.Gate valve under low pressure occasion, disc is forced to set to guarantee sealing; while disc is forced to contact another seat by high pressure condition. There is a slot structure inside the cavity to make sure the disc will not rotate under pressure, and also guarantee there is no friction before close position between seat and disc, thus reduces frictions on sealing face.

Wedge gate valve of Sangong has following advantages

1. Product fabrication is strictly according to API 600, full port design, on full open position, valve disc is higher that flow direction to guarantee flow smoothly, reduce pressure loss, high transmission efficiency.
2. For carbon material valve, seat is forged, high density, good sealing capacity. Sealing face use 13Cr or Stellite hard alloy material, overlay net thickness is over 2mm, valve seat is threaded or welded on the valve body, easy to maintain and dissemble.
3. Adopt rising stem, stem and disc is connected by a T shaped groove, T head and stem is forged together to guarantee enough connection strength. Flexible disc structure can avoid stuck caused by heat inflation
4. Back seal design will protect packing when valve is fully opened. Packing is flexible graphite, good sealing capacity, and also venting system is available. Packing bush and gland are ball structure, pressure process will enable the stem to automatically centralized, avoid stem stuck.
5. Bolted bonnet structure and thick hex nut fastening parts will ensure reliable function. Gasket adopt flexible graphite twist stainless steel or octagonal ring to get good sealing effect
6. Top entry nut design assures that, when the valve is open, even if demount the hand-wheel, stem and disc will not fall down. Stem is made by Aluminum bronze, and both sides set bearing, all this made the valve easy to operate.

Bellow Seal Valves:Gate,Globe Valve

A valve with a bellows to seal off the stem enclosure is an ideal choice whenever leakage to the atmosphere is intolerable due to toxicity, chemical corrosion, radioactivity, other health or ecological reasons. In addition, seal welding the body-bonnet seal makes the valve hermetically sealed. The bellows is welded to the stem and to the bottom of the bonnet.

Installation and Maintenance

1. Main valve should be installed on the inlet of pool or high water towel. Though other method also able to operate normally, the best way is install valve on the pipe horizontally with the cover upward. Float valve should be installed in the tank or water towel, in order to remote control easily as shown below.
2. Before installation, the pipe should be totally clear up. The valve should be installed follow the arrow direction.
3. 1 pc gate valve and 1 pc filter should be installed before main valve, 1pc gate valve should be installed after main valve, in order to facilitate maintenance.
4. During water test, open the front gate valve slowly so to increase pressure slowly, attention to the leakage of the control pipe outside main valve.
5. In order to pack conveniently, the float valve will be installed in main valve. The actual installation as shown below.
6. The micro filter in the conduit entrance of main valve should be cleaned one time each 2-3 month.

Main valve maintenance instruction

Hydraulic control valve, also named as water control valve, self lubricate by water, it doesn’t require any oil. If the parts of main valve damage, please dismantle the valve follow below instruction. Notes: (Usually the wearing parts within main valve are diaphragm and o-ring. There is little damage for other parts)
1. Close gate valve both before and after main valve
2. Loose the screw in pipe joint of main valve cover, release valve pressure
3. Remove all the screw, including all necessary copper pipe and nut in control pipe.
4. Remove cover and spring
5. Remove stem, diaphragm, piston and so on, not to damage the diaphragm
6. Check if the diaphragm and o –ring is damage, if they haven’t damage, please don’t resolve their internal parts.

The emergency shutoff valve or trip valve is used on the above mentioned steam turbines to shut off the flow steam, which is the power source for the turbine in case an overspeed condition of the turbine, or in some cases when the unit is set up for a low oil pressure condition. These turbines are used as general purpose power supplies throughout refineries chemical plants power plants and other areas where steam is generated for heating.

The goal of long term runs more than one year has been desired due to lost production when the turbines are shut down man power required to go through the procedure transferring production to another source and the potential of causing damage to the turbine during shut down and start up.

SGV Quick closing valve is a Spring Emergency shut off butterfly valve which is Electric-hydraulic operated, can be closed within 0.5~1 second.The valve is applied to parrallel generator sets. It shut immediatedly as the accident happens, to prevents the steam and condensed water flowing back and destrying the sets.

This Fast closing valve is mainly used in coal gas residual heat power generation system and extration steam turbine system. The valve is critical auxiliary equipment for system. it can instead of electric cut off buuterfly valve and check butterfly valve because of its small flow resistance and sper seal function.

Valve body and seal structure adopt ADMAS type seal structure, triple offset metal seated butterfly valve.Open and close handily and without leakage.For normal applicaiton, soft seat might be suitable and seal performance can be credible.

Quick closing butterfly valve adopts hdraulic spring or hydraulic accumulator actuators. Both two types are safely and credibly.

Both two kinds operation valve have two stage of close:fast close stage and slow close stage. At the end of closing stage, the valve will be close slowly, so to reduce water hammer and avoid slamming. This design prolong the equippments servive life.

A stainless steel valve is a valve, mainly made of stainless steel, which regulates the flow of a fluid, corrosive or noncorrosive (fluidized solids, slurries, gases, liquids,) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. It is a pipeline fluid distribution system control unit, is used to change the channel cross-section and media flow direction for fluid guidance, regulating, cut-off, throttling, stopping and depressurization through diversion or excess flow.

There are many kinds of fluid control valves with various specifications, such as cut-off valves with simplest structure and valves with highly complex automatic control system, minute gauge valves and valves with 10m nominal diameter for industrial pipes.

Specification for Pipeline Valves. API Specification 6D is an adoption of ISO 14313, Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries-Pipeline Transportation Systems-Pipeline Valves. This International Standard specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the design, manufacturing, testing and documentation of ball, check, gate and plug valves for application in pipeline systems.

API 602 Forged Steel Check Valves(BS5352/MSS SP-118)

API 602, BS5352, MSS SP-118 Forged Steel Check Valves Flanged, Flangeless, Threaded and Welding Ends

Forged steel check valves of Sangong are available in three bonnet designs.
The first design is the Bolted Bonnet, with male-female joint, spiral wound gasket, made in F304l/graphite. Ring joint gasket is available if required. The second design is in the welded bonnet, with a threaded and seal welded joint. On request a full penetration strength welded joint is available. The third design is the pressure seal bonnet, with a threaded and pressure seal bonnet joint.
The forged check valves are also available in three different design configurations. These are piston check valve type, ball check or swing check types. Besides, construction can be as follows:

API 602 – Compact Steel Gate, Globe, Check Valves – Flanged, Threaded, Welding, and Extended-Body Ends. The standard covers threaded-end, socket-welding-end, butt-welding-end, and flanged-end compact carbon steel valves in sizes NPS4 and smaller.

BS 5352 – Specification for steel wedge gate, globe and check valves 50 mm and smaller for the petroleum, petrochemical and allied industries

MSS SP-118 – Compact Steel Globe and Check Valves – Flanged, Flangeless, Threaded and Welding Ends (Chemical and Petroleum Refinery Service)

This MSS Standard Practice covers flanged end, threaded end, socked-welding end, and butt-welding end compact steel globe and check valves. The term “compact” is used to identify the valves covered by this Standard Practice as reduced seat port valves. Valve sizes correspond to nominal pipe sizes listed in ASME B36.10M and B36.19M. Flanged, flangeless, and butt weld end valves are limited to sizes NPS 4 and smaller; threaded and socked welding end valves are limited to sizes NPS 2 1/2 and smaller. Valves covered under this Standard Practice shall meet the requirements of ASME B16.34, “Standard Glass”.

API 598 Valve Inspection and Testing. The standard covers inspection, supplementary examination, and pressure test requirements for both resilient-seated and metal-to-metal seated gate, globe, plug, ball, check, and butterfly valves. Pertains to inspection by the purchaser and to any supplementary examinations the purchaser may require at the valve manufacturer’s plant.
