What is the purpose of the knife gate valve?

The appearance of knife gate valve has solved the problems of heavy weight, large flow resistance, large area and difficult installation of ordinary gate valve. It can replace the universal shut-off valve, and can work under the working pressure of 1.0MPa-2.5MPa and the operating temperature of – 29-550 ℃. The gate of the knife gate valve has the shearing function, which can scrape the adhesive on the sealing surface and automatically remove the debris. The stainless steel gate can prevent the seal leakage caused by corrosion.

The knife gate valve is applicable to the oil, water and steam pipelines of coal preparation, slag discharge, urban sewage treatment, food, paper making, medicine, petroleum, chemical industry and other oil products, water and steam pipelines in the mine power plant, and the medium such as cement slurry, gold powder, mineral sand, slag, coal slurry, pulp, wood pulp, tailings, fiber, dust, chemical treatment sewage, sedimentation tank, asphalt, silo outlet, fruit, grain, slaughterhouse wastewater, etc.

Features of knife gate valve

1. The lifting ram sealing surface can scrape the adhesive on the sealing surface and automatically remove the debris.

2. Stainless steel ram can prevent seal leakage caused by corrosion, and fine grinding and polishing can obtain better sealing effect.

3. The stainless steel valve body is durable, the design of the valve body reinforcing rib improves the strength of the valve body, and the double head screw can be opened and closed more quickly.

4. The valve body and filler culvert are precision cast, in which the valve body is integrally cast with flange, the material can be 304, 316, 316L, WCB, 2Crl3 according to the user’s needs, and the sealing ring is made of PTFE reinforced PTFE, which is corrosion resistant, wear-resistant, and slag free.

5. The round DC channel is designed to be free of slag and jamming.

6. The scientific design of the upper seal stuffing box makes the upper seal safe, effective and durable.

7. Short structure length can save raw materials, installation space and effectively support pipeline strength.

8. Triangular supports save raw materials and ensure required mechanical properties.

9. The guide block on the knife gate valve body makes the gate move correctly. The extrusion block ensures the effective sealing of the ram.

10. The valve plate has 5 supporting points. When the valve is closed and bears back pressure, the valve plate will not shift.
